LOGJAM 09

LOGJAM 09

In April, on our parking lot, there was a get gathering of young folks. It was called LOGJAM, headed by our Zim Khan. The name LOGJAM was derived from the proximity to the log pile next door. It is a reminent of an 80’ fallen tree. Project Logjam’s goal was to bring attention to local youth that there is a church here, Christ Church, that there is a
place they can come to worship and give thanks, and also to get a small group of kids together who genuinely want to get together as a youth group. The goal was achieved and 20 kids were interested in attending youth groups. But now that there is an interest and a long summer ahead and it is now time to gear up and set up for the fall. Pastor Khan spoke
and also invited the audience to come attend worship on Sunday at 9:45 for a traditional worship. He also invited many to the summer VBS program.

Logjam had about 150+ people in attendance. five bands performed( Band Names: Venus and the Panics, Very Important Businessmen, Paul Clifford Project, Frank Banana Jam). A good time was had by all. Hot dogs were served.
